Two Amazing Students: Adam and Kevin
This past weekend has been an awarding experience for our two students, Adam and Kevin in completing the PADI Open Water Scuba Diving Certification At Dutch Springs. The class was assisted by Ed Alligier, our PADI Assistant Instructor. Adam and Kevin displayed control and confidence in the water from the pool class that was held the Friday before the checkout dives.
Productive Pool And Academic Class
The pool and academic class ran from 11 o’clock in the morning to 1 o’clock in the afternoon and the academic dive theory class followed shortly after into the evening. It was a very productive Friday with regard to the PADI open water scuba diving certification at Dutch Springs class. The rest of the weekend was composed of the four open water checkout dives.
Open Water Checkout Dives At Dutch Springs
We began our Saturday on the Peninsula side of Dutch Springs by having the students set up the equipment and then they were briefed on the first dive before entering the water. Eddie, our certified assistant did the briefing and Michael Ranieri, our scuba instructor added any details that he felt were pertinent to the first dive of the day.
PADI Revised Course Standards
Do to the new PADI Open Water course revision, we are now able to get a lot of dive flexible skills out of the way on the first dive versus before when we could not even do any skills on the first dive. This was perfect that we got all the skills and dive flexible skills of the PADI Open Water Scuba Diving Certification At Dutch Springs class done. The last dive that occurred on Sunday, we were able to do a nice fun deeper dive. Overall, the PADI Open Water Scuba Diving Certification At Dutch Springs class was a great success.
