PADI Rescue Scuba Diving Certification Dutch Springs PA
The PADI Rescue Scuba Diving Certification Dutch Springs PA class was a fun filled weekend of doing rescue skills in the pool and converting the skills to scenarios.
Class Itinerary
The class involved two students: Giorgio and Jaimie. The certified assistants were Eddie in the pool and Carlos at Dutch Springs quarry. Saturday began at 8 am in the pool demonstrating the PADI rescue skills and then having the students performing them until they showed mastery. We also addressed any questions the students had concerning the rescue diver skills. Finally concerning the PADI Rescue Scuba Diving Certification Dutch Springs PA class on Saturday we covered the knowledge reviews in a classroom setting and then, the students took their final exams. Sunday morning we took the skills that were performed in the pool and converted them into scenarios at Dutch Springs scuba park.
Scenario Practice
The first scenario was that the students had to search and locate a missing diver and bring the non-responsive diver to the surface making sure that when they brought the victim to the surface was slow and controlled. The second scenario was that the students had to demonstrate how to rescue an unconscious diver at the surface by performing rescue exercise number seven in the PADI Rescue diver standards according to protocol.
Total Of Two Days
The PADI Rescue Scuba Diving Certification Dutch Springs PA class consisted of two great days with students learning how to be an effective PADI rescue diver. We want to congratulate Giorgio and Jaimie for a job well done. Both were very successful in performing their PADI rescue skills.
