PADI Scuba Diving Certification Dutch Springs PA
The PADI Scuba Diving Certification Dutch Springs PA class with our four students this past May 16th to May 17th, 2015 was a sunny and productive weekend at Dutch Springs, PA.
Great Attentive Students
Our four students, Aya, Conrad, Mike and Haig performed the skills they learned in the confined water setting with stellar accuracy in the open water at the platform in Dutch Springs at a depth of twenty five feet. We began by unloading scuba gear from the vehicles and then setting up the scuba units on the tables on the student side.
Systematic Student Preparation
The weighting for the bcd’s were assumed with a calculation of fifteen percent of their body weight plus five pounds to account for the face that the double layered 7mm wetsuit carried a lot of positive buoyancy. We, then, continued the PADI Scuba Diving Certification Dutch Springs PA class by getting the students in their scuba units and walking to the water on the dock to put on their fins, mask and gloves. After that we had each student keep a full lung of air and step out with empty of air bcd’s to do a buoyancy check. Some minor adjustments were made to correct the weighting in the water. We then proceeded with PADI Scuba Diving Certification Dutch Springs PA class by dropping down the line to the platform where all the students held onto the line and didn’t go past the instructor’s hand in descending to the platform.
All Skills Done In A Timely Manner
We managed to get all the open water skills done in a timely manner to satisfy the requirement for the PADI Open Water certification. The PADI Scuba Diving Certification Dutch Springs PA class was a great success.
