Gerry A Future Scuba Diving Leader
We conducted a PADI Divemaster Union County NJ event this past Friday with Gerry, our aspiring divemaster candidate who has shown significant promise in being a leader in the scuba diving industry.
Divemaster Criteria To Be Met
The PADI Divemaster Union County NJ class is composed of many different evaluation criteria that are part of the final PADI Divemaster certification. There are different sets are criteria to be met. Firstly, the divemaster candidate has to have his rescue diver and CPR and First Aid certifications. Then, the candidate has to do a PAD e-learning set of modules that goes over the divemaster theory. After this, a theory final written exam has to be taken and be passed with a proficiency of seventy percent.
Practical Side Of The PADI Divemaster Certification
There are also practical evaluations and standards to be met with the PADI Divemaster Union County NJ events and other divemaster classes. One has to assist in the pool settings with the instructor in teaching classes and also assist in the open water. Along with that, physical tests have to be met. Concerning the PADI Divemaster Union County NJ event this Friday, Gerry had to do a four hundred yard swim, a 15 yard survival float, one hundred yard tired diver toe, a divemaster exchange (stress test).
Demonstration Quality Skills
Finally, approximately twenty three skills have to be done demonstration quality. Gerry has met all the criteria to be a quality leader in the scuba diving industry and has assisted all season with students. He has been a great asset in adding to the additional safety in the water when it comes to the teaching process.
