Advanced Diver Certification Program

Because we are of the opinion over the 20 + years of teaching that “just five extra dives converts a scuba diver from open water to advanced open water” is highly inaccurate, we have included a little extra training with the Advanced Buoyancy course which includes two dives.

The dives would span 3 weekdays. We can ONLY teach advanced classes on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and or Thursday. We don’t teach any classes on weekends.

Total cost of the SDI Advanced Adventure Diver certification course would be $1,000.00 (price does not include day passes to quarries at $65/day and tank air refill tickets at $10/refill). Currently we are teaching this course at Willow Springs and Round Valley. The dives are split up between both depending on what themed dive we are doing.

The themed dives we would be doing is: Deep, Underwater Navigation, Advanced Buoyancy, Wreck, DSMB (Delayed Surface Marker Buoy) or Shore Diving

IF YOU DECIDE TO PROCEED WITH ENROLLMENT:

Some Facts About Us

Expand here to learn more:

  • We have deliberately small classes. We NEVER have more than 4 to 5 people in a class in the pool and open water. This limits the amount of time it takes for you to complete the requirements to get certified! It also increases the quality of learning. We focus on quality NOT quantity.
  • You will be done in just one day rather than the large drawn out multiple classes of other dive shops.
  • Read Here to learn about who will be teaching you (one instructor and not flip-flopped from one instructor to another).

Frequently Asked Questions:

Can I buy my own mask, fins, booties, and snorkel and get a discount on my fee?

The answer is a polite “NO”. We have had bad experiences with this where we enrolled students and relied on them to get gear and then had to chase them till the nth hour to purchase gear or the student got the wrong gear. So, we steer away from this idea.

Suppose I already have a mask, fins, booties, and snorkel and I know that it fits?

You need to text or email a picture of all your gear before we tell you it is OK. On the day of your other gear (bcd and wetsuit) fitting, you also need to bring that gear in so we can inspect it.

I want to enroll in a class. Can you “PENCIL ME IN”?

We don’t have any pencils. We ran out of them You need to get the proper forms to us as depicted above and full payment before you are guaranteed enrollment. Until then, nothing will happen.
