Here is the proposal for your combo package for the SDI Advanced Diver Developmental Program. Below is a list of the SDI Specialties you would be doing and the required number of dives with regard to each specialty and online e-Learning
Earn four diving specialties, have your rescue diver and 50 logged dives, you will earn:
SDI Master Scuba Diver Credential: (Which is the highest non-professional rating in the SDI system setting you apart from other divers)
The total dives spanning the course of days we pick to do this is 10 dives. 2 dives a day for 5 days.
Once you can show you have 25 logged dives (the remaining dives can be done anywhere), you earn the SDI Advanced Diver Credential
**You just need flexibility to do these dives in the middle of the week usually on Wednesdays at 10am after we are done with our open water students. We don’t teach this on weekends. This could span the course of the entire season***
Price as quoted: $1,750.00 (includes ALL elearning). Does NOT include day passes($60/day) to the quarries or tank refill tickets ($10 each).
**If you DON’T have booties, snorkel and fins, it would be an additional $120.00**
**NOTE** You will have to buy your own 7mm wetsuit.***
According to SDI, earn four specialties, you automatically earn your SDI advanced adventure diver certification. Here are the four specialties listed below:
Advanced Buoyancy:
5 dives dives because new divers need to work on their buoyancy and buoyancy is the MOST important skill a diver can have. If your buoyancy is off then everything is off.
Deep Diver:
2 dives
Wreck Diver:
2 dives required
***1 bonus Navigation Dive***
Computer Nitrox (Enriched Air)
0 dives
Elearning
Quick review exam
You will receive a Docusign packet of forms to fill out.
You must physically put a “NO” to EVERY single medical question. If you put a “YES” to anything, then you need your doctor to sign off on approving for diving.
The answer is a polite “NO”. We have had bad experiences with this where we enrolled students and relied on them to get gear and then had to chase them till the nth hour to purchase gear or the student got the wrong gear. So, we steer away from this idea.
You need to text or email a picture of all your gear before we tell you it is OK. On the day of your other gear (bcd and wetsuit) fitting, you also need to bring that gear in so we can inspect it.
We don’t have any pencils. We ran out of them ☺ You need to get the proper forms to us as depicted above and full payment before you are guaranteed enrollment. Until then, nothing will happen.
