PADI Advanced Scuba Certification Dutch Springs PA

The PADI Advanced Scuba Certification Dutch Springs PA class this weekend was a very carefully coordinated set of five themed dives this weekend.

Five Themed Dives

The themed dives of the PADI Advanced Scuba Certification Dutch Springs PA class were: deep, wreck, underwater navigation, multi-level and peak performance buoyancy. The deep dive was done by surface swimming to the top of the six by six truck wreck and dropping down to eighty-five feet of depth. We advised the three students to pay attention to their air gauges.

Multiple Student Briefings

We also briefed the students that they would have to equalize constantly and to notate the thermocline in the water. We advised them that the temperature could get colder by ten degrees. As for the wreck dive, we went to the comet ship and at at depth of fifty five feet they had to imitate what it would be like to penetrate a ship and noticing any snag points and that penetration of a wreck should be done when they have dove the wreck several times and doing partial penetrations.

Fun Neutral Buoyancy Dive

The PADI Advanced Scuba Certification Dutch Springs PA class proceeded with the third dive on Friday which was peak performance dive where we had the students go in and out of the buoyancy rings without touching them. The following day we finished the PADI Advanced Scuba Certification Dutch Springs PA class with a multi-level and underwater navigation dive.

Multi-Level Dive Planning

The multi-level dive was done by descending down to the pump station area and riding the wall experiencing different depths that we did with multi-level planning. Underwater navigation consisted of doing a lubber-line heading with the compass on the surface, dropping down to twenty feet and navigating to the fire truck wreck. All the students totally enjoyed the PADI Advanced Scuba Certification Dutch Springs PA class.
