PADI Scuba Diving Classes At Dutch Springs
Congratulations to our students Dan, Erina, Ram and Vineil in passing all their skills in the PADI scuba diving classes at Dutch Springs this past weekend. Everybody was very efficient in displaying their skills they learned in the pool sessions.
Weather Conditions Were Great
It was a sunny weekend with no rain. The temperature of the water at the surface was in the high seventies and the temperature of the water of the platform at twenty five feet was in the low seventies. You didn’t even need a hood or gloves to stay warm. Regarding the PADI scuba diving classes at Dutch Springs, this was the last step for the students to show their mastery of the PADI open water skills.
The Day’s Progression
We started with the surface exercises such as the snorkel to regulator skill, tired diver tow, inflation of signal tube at the surface and cramp removal to the deeper water skills such as the mask partial and full flooding and clearing, buoyancy exercises and out of air and air sharing. Finally when everyone displayed their mastery, we took a tour of the bus wreck at 45 feet. Of course it was murkier and colder. The temperature at the bus wreck was approximately in the high fifties.
Improved Skill Set
Toward the last dive, everybody’s buoyancy had improved dramatically. Dan and Erina enjoyed themselves so much that they decided to sign up for the PADI Advanced Open Water class in a few weeks. We are very proud of our students and their accomplishments. We treat everyone individually and bring out the best of their abilities and it shows.
