We were able to cover all the confined water pool skills in four hours time which was impressive. All the students felt comfortable in the water which made teaching the skills and have the students master them with extreme efficiency. Commonly encountered problems are mask or regulator issues.

Concerning the mask, students usually feel uncomfortable flooding and clearing their masks. The feeling of water getting trapped around their noses makes them uncomfortable. With the regulator recovery and retrieval exercise, they usually don’t like taking it out of their mouths to clear and purge before breathing.
